Last Tuesday, april 24, Javier Mejía, Econometría Scholar with the "Manuel Ramírez Gómez" scholarship, supported his merit doctoral thesis "Three Essay on social networks and economy history" at the University of Los Andes.

El pasado 10 de abril de 2018, en el marco de la “Evaluación de los costos, beneficios y preparación de un plan de financiación para el Programa REDD+”, Econometría realizó en República Dominicana un taller con el sector privado y la sociedad civil sobre el desarrollo forestal y agroforestal. 
On April 10, 2018, within the framework of the "Evaluation of the costs, benefits and preparation of a financing plan for the REDD + Program", Econometría carried out a workshop in the Dominican Republic with the private sector and civil society about the forestry and agroforestry development.

School Bullying Prevention Program of Panama

On April 12, 2018, Econometría made the final presentation of the report for the Panamanian authorities of the cross-sectional study of the "School Bullying Prevention Program of Panama", a project that aims to contribute to the prevention of student violence and increase student levels, social inclusion of young people through the promotion and strengthening of attitudes and values for personal growth and peaceful coexistence in the student sector and in the community.

USDA MCGOVERN final evaluation - DOLE / School feeding

In April 2018, Econometría is in Bangladesh developing the project "Final evaluation of USDA MCGOVERN-DOLE that supports school feeding activities", project of the World Food Program. This study implements a mixed methodology. Visits will be made to 18 schools where the Program was implemented and interviews with government officials from Bangladesh (central and local), United Nations partners, local NGOs, parents, teachers and school committees. In addition, there will be 16 focus groups with beneficiary children.

40th anniversary of Econometria


To celebrate its 40th anniversary, Econometría held the discussion "The role of economic consulting in the current and future context" on August 3, 2017 at the National Museum. The conversation counted with the participation of Adriana Kugler, Orazio Attanasio, Antonio Celia and José Antonio Campo.
